Timeline Background
Our family has been in the Well Drilling Industry for over 50 years! My Great Uncle, Dale Smith, started back in the late '60s becoming one of Georgia's first licensed Drillers. Uncle Dale helped write the bylaws and regulations that shaped the Georgia well drilling industry in its early years. My father, Charles Smith, joined him and learned the trade over the years . When Dale retired from drilling, Smith & Smith Well Drilling was born.
Years after graduating from Georgia Southern University, I, Christopher Smith, decided to join the family trade and continue the tradition. Branching off from my father, Smith Drilling Company was born. We continue to serve the greater coastal Savannah area and look forward to many more years!
